Zeus's Symbol

Kid Icarus: The Mother GoddessEdit

Zeus is the Ruler of the Skies, as well as brother to Hades and Poseiden. He makes a brief appearance in Kid Icarus: The Mother Goddess. His role in the storyline is simply to destroy the Chaos Monster in any way possible.

Zeus has extreme temper problems, as noted by Palutena when he attempts to strike down the Chaos Monster but almost hits Pit instead. However, despite his angry demeanor, Zeus really is good-hearted and has the best in mind for the human race.

Zeus has been shown to exhibit extremely powerful magical abilities, mostly to do with lightning. He tries to kill the Chaos Monster with a number of devastating electric attacks, but ends up creating a minefield of lightning for the angels to fly through.

  • It is hinted at by Aether that Zeus may have created Electivar, the Religious Figurehead of the Skies.

Kid Icarus: Defender of LightEdit

Zeus is the powerful god of lightning, rain, and sky. He lives in a palace in the sky, similar to skyworld, but more magestic. He leads the Elemental Army, warriors of fire, water, air, and electricity (Viridi got earth and ground first). Like Dyntos, he is rather passive of the events that occured in Kid Icarus: Uprising, but when he is addressed and directly sought to be allies, he decides to take action. He and Poseidon hold a strong rivalry, thinking negativly about each other. Overall, he is good-hearted and wants to do what is best for the world.
